■PERSONAL HISTORY
Born in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture.
Graduated from the former Tokyo College of Photography (currently Tokyo Visual Arts).
While still in school, he learned studio work at Hayasaki Studio.
later became involved in the production of works by the late Osamu Hayasaki.
After leaving the company, he moved to the United States (New York).
After returning to Japan, he joined KIPS Co., Ltd. in Tokyo and worked as a photographer.
After he left the company in 1992, he established Kenji Sato Photograph Office.
